Here Is How to Make a Widget for a Facebook Group

Facebook badges can be displayed on any HTML site.

Facebook enables users to create HTML badges as advertisements for Facebook pages. These badges can be pasted into Blogger, TypePad or any site that utilizes HTML.
It only takes a few minutes to create a group badge and copy it onto your website or blog.

Step 1
Open a Web browser on your computer. Navigate to the Facebook.com/badges page.

Step 2
Click the "Page Badge" link in the lower right corner. Locate your Facebook group from the list of groups displayed. Click the "Edit This Badge" link in this group's section. The link appears on the far right side of the page.

Step 3
Select "Vertical," "Horizontal" or "2 Columns" for badge layout. Select the items you want to appear on your badge including group name, latest group status, profile image and number of fans. Click the "Save" button.

Step 4
Click the "Other" button in your group's section. Click the HTML code that appears. Select "Edit" and then click "Copy." Paste the HTML code into the source code of your Web page.
